    This report examines the issues and challenges of the Internet of Things (IoT) based on the article "Internet of Things (IoT): Opportunities, issues and challenges towards a smart and sustainable future" by Sandro Nižetić, Petar Šolić, Diego López-de-Ipiña González-de-Artaza, and Luigi Patrono, published in the Journal of Cleaner Production in 2020. The article provides a comprehensive overview of IoT applications across various sectors, highlighting the potential benefits while acknowledging the associated challenges.


1. Resource Depletion and Environmental Impact:
